now, the fine print...
For Wedding Invitations:
Ordering:
- Please be sure to order enough invitations. It is possible that additional invitations would be available with no additional fees, but it is more likely that there will be a surcharge (up to $100) depending on the number of additional invitations needed. This surcharge is reduced as your order for additional invitations increases. *This surcharge is not intended as a penalty but to help cover the costs of my minimum paper orders.*
- Once your order is placed it is not possible to reduce the number of invitations. Due to the custom nature of my business, your specifications given when placing your order determine the supplies ordered to produce your invitations.
- If your order must be cancelled before production begins your deposit will be held. It is not possible to cancel orders once production has begun.
- We will not be responsible for rush orders resulting from a failure to provide information in a timely manner, failure to respond to proofs in a timely manner, and / or making excessive changes to the product design which may cause a delay in production.
Proofs:
- Please be sure to proof read all invitation pieces that are shown to you. The proofing process is not only to get the design perfect for you, but to also proof the actual information on the invitation and inserts. It is your responsibility to ensure that all text portions of your order have proper spelling, grammar, and colors. You will have multiple opportunities to proof your invitation. Once the final proof is approved and production begins, you will be responsible for covering all costs (including possible rush fees) related to any changes that need to be made to your invitation.
- Please be sure to promptly approve or send changes for your proofs. All delays in returning proofs will extend the production period of your invitations.
Revisions:
- The prices listed for Wedding Invitations includes two rounds of revisions. If additional revisions are needed they will be $25 per invitation or insert piece.
Products:
- Please note that all of our products are custom, handmade pieces. While we take great pride in the quality of our work, slight variations may occur from piece to piece.
Advertising:
- Jack Sprat retains the right to use photos of your items in any promotional documents including but not limited to their website, professional profiles on other wedding websites, bridal shows, email and mail promotions, and magazine publications.
For Wedding Programs, Place Cards and other products:
Ordering:
- For all orders with a quick turn around time and / or under $250 payment in full is required when the order is placed. Orders not fitting into this criteria, a 50% deposit is due when your order is placed and the balance is due when your items are ready for delivery.
- When ordering Programs, Place Cards, Menus and other items for your wedding, the style and approximate count must be received three weeks before you would like the items delivered so that the necessary supplies can be ordered. If this deadline is not met, it may be possible to process your order, but a rush fee may apply.
- Your final count for Programs, Place Cards, Menus and other items are due two weeks before you would like the items delivered. An additional fee may apply if the final count is 20% more or less than your estimated count.
- We will not be responsible for rush orders resulting from a failure to provide information in a timely manner, failure to respond to proofs in a timely manner, and / or making excessive changes to the product design which may cause a delay in production.
Information:
- Information must be provided in the format requested. If it is not provided in the requested format, a formatting charge of $40 per hour will be charged (minimum charge $40).
- Information must be complete when it is provided for your Wedding Programs, Place Cards, or other products. If you have changes to the information, please check with me to find out the format that is best to send it in (whether it is better to send the individual changes or the entire information again…)
- Information for your Wedding Programs, Place Cards, or other items must be provided two weeks before you would like me to ship your items. If the information is not provided in a timely manner, it may still possible to process your order, but a rush fee will apply.

- Please be sure to carefully proof all items. The proofing process is not only to get the design perfect for you, but to also proof the actual text. It is your responsibility to ensure that all text portions of your order have proper spelling, grammar, and colors. Once the final proof is approved and production begins, you will be responsible for covering all costs (including possible rush fees) related to any changes that need to be made to your order.
- Due to the time constraints for Wedding Programs, Place Cards, and other products, all proofs are requested to be approved or changes submitted within 24 hours of sending the proof. If it takes longer than 24 hours for revisions or approval the delivery date will have to be adjusted or rush fees may apply.

- The prices listed for Wedding Programs, Party Invitations, and all other items include one round of revisions. If you have additional revisions there is a minimum charge of $20 and they will be charged at an hourly rate of $40 an hour for more complex projects.
